Jappa is an adventure puzzle game that combines humor and puzzles 🧩 with learning japanese 🎌 to teach the player in a fun way. Instead of forcing yourself to sit down and study you can learn japanese by playing  Jappa!

You play as Tora-san, a man as brave as a tiger 🐯 and as drunk as a lord🍾, who has landed in a  cursed hiragana forest and has to relearn japanese to escape this weird place. 😵‍💫

! The game is designed for beginners  ,but more experienced people in the Japanese language will also find their fun in the puzzles and story !

This demo aims to teach you the following:

• The first couple rows of the hiragana script  📜
• A few common verbs  ✎ᝰ.
• And many nouns that use these hiragana! 

        

In the full game we plan to cover all of the hiragana as well as many more common verbs and nouns. For now grammar teaching is not part of the game but it is possible we add it in the future.
